Illinois licensed lead inspectors
Illinois does not run a routine rental lead certificate program. When an inspection is needed (for example after an elevated blood lead case, or for voluntary clearance), hire an Illinois-licensed lead inspector or risk assessor.
Official registry (IDPH). Search licensed lead inspectors and risk assessors on the Illinois Department of Public Health list. That list is mostly individuals; LeadSafeRules only imports company-level registries (today: NJ and MI), so we do not republish names here.

Not legal advice. LeadSafeRules summarizes official city and state sources for information only. Rules, fees and deadlines change, so confirm with the official source or your local housing or health department before relying on this. Every rule page links its source and shows the date we last checked it.
